Financial Policy
We are committed to providing the best possible care for your children. Please take a moment to review our financial policy below. To provide the best quality dental care, it is necessary to have the financial policy clearly defined and followed.
We work with many different dental insurance carriers. If your dental plan is one of them, we will contact the company, verify your dental coverage and request a summary of benefits. We do request all co-payments (the estimated portion that the insurance will not cover) be paid at the time of service. Once the insurance has paid their portion, you may be billed for any amount above the insurance company's usual, customary, and reasonable fees. The UCR is not provided to our practice when the benefits are verified.
If your plan is one that we do not work with, we will submit your dental claim for you and request payment at time of service.
We do accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. If you have any questions please contact our billing and insurance department at (717) 741-0848, ext. #2.
We look forward to seeing you in our office. |
Insurance
Our office participates with many dental insurance carriers. If we participate with your plan, we will verify your dental coverage and request a summary of the dental benefits from your insurance company.
If we are participating with your dental plan, we will submit dental claims asking for payment to come directly to our practice. You will be responsible for co-payments (the estimated portion that the insurance will not pay) at time of service. Once the insurance has paid their portion, you may be billed for any amount above the insurance company’s usual, customary, and reasonable fee (UCR). The UCR is not provided to our practice when benefits are verified.
We are not participating with any Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Delta plans. We are not participating with any plans that will not send payment to our office directly. If you have a plan that we are not participating with, we will gladly submit all dental claims for you. Payment will be due at time of service for all dental insurance plans of which we are not a participating provider. The insurance reimbursement will be sent directly to you, the subscriber. If you are unsure as to whether or not we are participating with your plan, please contact our office prior to any scheduled appointments.
We suggest that you contact our practice in the event of a change in your dental insurance carrier as soon as the change becomes effective. If the information is given to us at the time of service, it is possible that you may be responsible to pay for all charges in full, in the event we are not able to contact your insurance company while you are present in the office.
We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. In the event that payment cannot be made in full at time of service, we will accept a postdated check in the event of an emergency. |
