Those of us who are grown up still react with wonder when the kids cheer when we tell them they are going to the dentist. For most of us that was not our experience! Kids in our office are treated to sunglasses while in the chair, to keep the 'sunshine' out of their eyes, video games and make-believe toys in the reception rooms, and prizes at the end of their visit for being good helpers!
